We
are delighted to welcome up to two well-behaved dogs to White Cottage,
and indeed for the active dog, the garden and heathland are very exciting
hunting grounds (and the more rabbits they can catch the better!). However,
as we have mentioned elsewhere on this site in connection with small children,
the heathland and adjacent farmland are open, and there are significantly
sized rabbit warrens on the property, so you may need to be cautious with
very small dogs, or those liable to run away. Acceptance of dogs is of
course also subject to the usual conditions that they are not permitted
in the bedrooms and are kept off the furniture, and any dog hairs are
removed before departure. We also ask that they are exercised well away
from the garden area of the property, and that any dog litter on the heath
visible from the cottage or neighbouring cottages is cleared up.
